This will also happen with the Sentient Goods. For example, if you have 1000 Moonstone, and the decay is 10%, you will lose 100 Moonstone overnight and gain 100 Marble.Īs soon as you reach Chapter XII - The Elementals, you can upgrade your Trader to level 3 and after that, you can trade Sentient Goods with other players.Īt the beginning of the game, you probably needed several Basic Goods to trade with other players in the Trader to obtain Refined and Precious goods. Sentient Goods decay like Mana and Divine Seeds but, unlike them, they will not just disappear but "transform back" into the original resource. You can store unlimited amounts of Sentient Goods in your Main Hall, but they will decay overnight by 10%. The Sentient Goods are subject to a special decay. To produce Sentient Goods, you will need Divine Seeds and the corresponding Standard Goods from that Manufactory. In these Manufactories, the productions of Regular Goods of 1 day and 2 days will be replaced by productions of the corresponding Sentient Goods, keeping the productions of 3 hours and 9 hours unchanged. The Sentient Goods can be researched from Chapter XII - The Elementals and beyond in the Research Tree and can be produced in any Manufactory level 24 or higher. Sentient Goods are also grouped into three categories: Basic Sentient Goods, Refined Sentient Goods and Precious Sentient Goods. However, they will be necessary to unlock higher technologies and explore distant provinces. On the other hand, Refined and Precious Goods will only become available later in the game and their cost of production is more expensive. You only need to unlock the corresponding Manufactories and their production costs are relatively low. The Basic Goods can be researched quite early in the Research Tree. Standard Goods are grouped into three categories: Basic Goods, Refined Goods and Precious Goods. OK, so what do we have here? Here are some of the things that pop up.As you progress through the chapters, you will see three types of Goods: The Standard Goods, the Sentient Goods and the Ascended Goods. Whoa! There is a new Advanced Trader upgrade, to L6. And right from the get go! The last time we’ve seen those was… I don’t even remember when. Chapter 14 / Constructs, for the S3 trading upgrade I think? So are we going to get some new resources? The answer is YES! Or so it seems. You can notice a few new names in the diagram, and most of them would be new guest race goods. But there is one that is likely to be a new resource on par with mana and seeds. We’ll talk about it a bit more in the resource section below. There is no Advanced Scouts tech in chapter 17 again (the last time we’ve had one was in Chapter 15). I am certain a great number of people are excited about that ? But then again, if the new tournament will go the way it currently looks like, scouting in the end game may become largely irrelevant. No one would be hitting those 50+ provinces in the tournaments, so scouting beyond 500 provinces would make little sense. We’re getting 2 more research expansions – the same as in chapter 16. One is optional and only requires coins and sentients, so you can do it at your leisure. The second one – City Expansion 51 – is a mandatory tech, and needs guest race resources.
